Carolina SGO is currently hiring installation technicians (installers) to join our team. You must have a clean driving record, be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Our work week is Monday through Friday, and we service residential new construction sites throughout the Charlotte Metro and surrounding areas. Cleanliness and attention to detail are extremely important as the scope of our work is interior finish. Responsibilities: Prior experience is not required, however a mechanical aptitude is. Appropriate training will be provided. You will be given work orders each day which must be completed on the given day to ensure deadlines are met. You will spend each day doing a variety of shower door and glass installations.

Abilities: You must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions. You must be self-disciplined and able to work unsupervised for extended periods of time. You must complete assigned tasks within proper timelines without forsaking quality. You must be proficient in the use of basic hand tools, and display the ability to make precise measurements. You must be able to record written information in a very clear and legible format. You must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly. The ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions to technical issues is a plus.

Education & Experience: You must be able to read and write the English language and have a strong mechanical aptitude.

Physical Demands: You must have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted, stand for extended periods of time, as well as walk, kneel, bend, lift, reach, etc.

Working Conditions: You will load and unload an assigned company vehicle with materials at our shop which may cause exposure to heat, cold, odors, dust, etc. You will use said vehicle to transport material to job sites. You will load and unload material at job sites which may expose you to a variety of weather conditions. Job sites are closed environments which may or may not be climate controlled, therefore exposure to heat, cold, odors, dust, etc. should be expected.

Qualified Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License with a Clean MVR, must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen, and must have Reliable Transportation to and from our office in Fort Mill, SC.

We offer competitive pay and hiring for both part time and full time. We consider part time at 8 to 30 hours per  week and full time 30 to 40 hours per week. Benefits for some positions are included after 90 days of employment. Pay will be be determined on experience.
